Colorado Sheriffs To WarDrive For Safety

One of the coolest ideas to hit law enforcement in a long time! I doubt it will have a big effect, after all wireless signals by the roads in some places is weak and the police officer may have better things to do than stop and hand you a leaflet that says "hi, fix your wireless and check your batteries in your smoke detector".

Bill Gates Is a Pirate Now

A little entry in the WSJ noted that Bill Gates watch pirated content on the internet. The worlds richest man, who one fought against piracy accessed stolen content.

ABC on Lowering Opinion of Nuclear Power

I was just reading an article posted on the ABC site that said some nuclear reactors are not guarded. You have got to be kidding me. In an industry where public opinion is everything, a reporter goes and says this?

I worked at a nuclear plant in Oswego, NY. To park my car, I had to go through security. To go in to the plant complex I had to go through security. To get into the reactor building I had to go through security. To get into the control room I had to go through security.

The public will go out and think that nuclear power is unsecure and unsafe when in reality, it is beyond secure and very safe. Fitz would always have a security readiness exercise with a Navy Seal team attempting to breach the security of the plant. It does not happen. They never get over the complex barrier.
